ARTHUR is a funded Portugal 2020 project and an innovative platform with dentofacial surgical simulation and forecast capabilities. This tool has the ability to assess the real impact on the patient's face mask and the possible millimetric changes to be made in the bone structure of the face.
ARTHUR is a cloud-based and user-friendly platform that allows the surgeons to store the patient history records and perform the virtual surgical planning. The patient will be able to see the final result of the simulation in different mobile devices (Android and IOS).
The ARTHUR solution is based on two different exams: Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) that contains skeleton and soft tissue data and a 3D facial scan, that contains the realistic face mask and textures of the patien. This tool can create a dynamic three-dimensional model of the biomedical reconstruction using complex integration models.
